Middletown Plans To Repave 32 Roads, Add Turn Lane

At their regular meeting on Monday night, the Middletown Board of Supervisors agreed to send the 2017 road program to bid.

The program is set to consist of 32 roads that will be milled and paved. The roads slated to be redone are: Adams Avenue, Birch Avenue, Buttonwood Avenue, Fee Avenue, Clay Avenue, Claymont Avenue, Cypress Avenue, Elissa Lynn Way, Fernwood Avenue, Fir Avenue, Flame Drive, Harrison Avenue, Jefferson Avenue, Lincoln Road, Linden Avenue, Line Avenue, Longview Avenue, Madison Avenue, Monroe Avenue, Parkview Avenue, Quincy Avenue, Washington Avenue, Willow Avenue, Hollybrooke Drive, Java Lane, Lipton Lane, Vine Way, Frosty Hollow Road, Carmen Lane, Green Meadow Drive, Tina Drive and Village Road.

In addition, the program will be adding a left-turn lane to Big Oak Road at Big Oak Crossing.

The expected price of the contract is around $1.6 million.
