Firefighters responded to three incidents in Bristol Township’s Croydon section Tuesday evening.
One house in the 1900 block Buchanan Avenue suffered moderate fire damage to the front exterior wall and the adjoining interior walls. The fire damage was in the area of the electric meter, Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said.

Around the same time, a home across Buchanan Avenue had an overheating and smoking electric meter. A small fire was found in the detached garage when a ground wire was energized, igniting combustibles, Dippolito said.
A third house on the street had smoke in the basement from an unknown source.
PECO was called and shut down power to the until proper repairs were made, Dippolito explained.

No injuries were reported but one family was put up in a hotel by their insurance company until repairs are made.
