Man Gets Federal Prison For Langhorne Dollar General Robbery, Others

A Philadelphia man who robbed the Dollar General and 20 other businesses in the region pleaded guilty recently.

David Murray, 33, was sentenced to six years and four months in federal prison, three years of supervised released, a $200 special assessment and $81,075 in restitution.

Murray took part in the September 2015 robbery of the Dollar General on Pine street in Langhorne Borough. There were no serious injuries reported in the Dollar General robbery.

Murray and Terrell Lang, 24, also of Philadelphia, were also charged with robbing the CVS on Lincoln Avenue in Newtown in July 2015. Lang is still awaiting a court date.
