Falls Township police have charged a local man after two area juveniles say he supplied them with alcohol and marijuana and acted inappropriately.
According to an affidavit of probable cause, police first met with a 15-year-old female juvenile and her boyfriend, also a 15-year-old juvenile, back in August at police headquarters. The two juveniles informed police that on two separate occasions they had been provided with alcohol and marijuana by Michael Cassidy, 45, at his home in the Vermillion Hills section of Levittown.

On August 2 into August 3, Cassidy invited both of the juveniles to sleep over his home. He picked up the male juvenile and drove to the female’s house where they waited for her to climb from her second floor bedroom window to the ground. Cassidy then drove the juveniles to a beer store where he purchased beer for them. After purchasing the beer, Cassidy drove the juveniles to his house where he provided them with marijuana that they smoked out of his metal bowl while in the driveway of his residence. Once inside his home, the group drank alcohol and shared a marijuana laced gummy bear candy that Cassidy had provided, according to public records.
As noted in a probable cause affidavit, at some point during the evening, the female juvenile alleges that Cassidy laid down next to her on an air mattress rolling towards her and placing his hand over her clothed vaginal area. The juvenile noted that Cassidy did not stop until she moved away from him.
On August 3 into August 4, Cassidy once again invited the juveniles to stay over his house, police said. After picking up the female juvenile from her home, with the male juvenile also in the car, Cassidy allegedly drove them directly back to his home where the malesย drank alcohol that Cassidy had purchased the evening before, and the three of them smoked marijuana.
