Tullytown police said late Wednesday night that the suspect in the robbery was identified and taken into custody. He will likely be charged overnight or Thursday morning, police said.

An armed robber struck a Tullytown cell phone store Presidents Day morning.

The armed robber walked into the MetroPCS store in the Levittown Town Center at 10:57 a.m. Monday and drew a semi-automatic handgun. He forced two employees and a customer into back room before making an employee help him load a bag with iPhones and cash from the register, police Chief Daniel Doyle said.
A witness watched the suspect leave the store and chased him to the nearby Kenwood neighborhood in Bristol Township. At that point, the suspect got into a white sedan with dark-tinted windows and drove off, Doyle said.

No injuries were reported in the robbery and employees were tallying the amount of phones taken in the robbery, the chief said.

Doyle told LevittownNow.com that he believes only one suspect was involved.
The suspect was wearing dark-colored clothing, including a hoodie and face covering, along with gloves during the robbery.
