Police said the stabbing happened around 2:20 p.m. on Amelia Drive near New Falls Road in Levittown. Officers responded to Amelia Drive and found the man with the stab wound and Alters standing near his Mercedes.
The man who was stabbed received a punctured lung when a folding knife was plunged into his back. His injury was non-life-threatening and he was treated at St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown, police said.
Alters was taken into custody and officers located Gulich in the area of Penn Valley Road and Birch Drive a short time later, police said. They added that Alters was found with methamphetamine, heroin, a pill and a smoking pipe.

During interviews, police determined that the stabbing occurred following a drug deal gone bad outside Levittown Lanes. The incident allegedly kicked off when the man who was stabbed tried to steal drugs from Gulich. Following the theft, Gulich chased the man and an altercation ensued. Alters told detectives he stabbed the man with a folding knife.
Alters and Gulich were sent to Bucks County prison on 10 percent of $100,000 bail.
