Borough officials said a crane barge will be in place for the duration of the construction. The piece of equipment will arrive Monday morning on the Delaware River.
Once the barge is in place, supports for the 80-foot, fixed pier will be placed. Gangways will connect two 250 foot floating docks to the fixed pier, accommodating a total of about 25 boats, according to officials.

The floating docks will be built off site, and then shipped in sections and assembled on site.

Construction scheduled to be finished by June of this year and expected to provide a boon to business.
The $3 million project has been under consideration since 2010. Funding finally came together from a variety of sources, including the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, through former Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick, the Bucks County Open Space program, state Sen. Tommy Tomlinson and State Rep. John Galloway and a private donation from the Grundy Foundation.
