Tullytown police are probing the cause of a small explosion that happened Thursday evening.
The small explosion emanated from a plastic container outside the Center for Student Learning Charter School on Lakeside Drive in Levittown around 5 p.m., police Chief Daniel Doyle said.

A woman waiting to pick her son up from the charter school saw several teenagers riding their bikes in the area where the explosion happened, Doyle said.
There were no injuries and no damage from the small blast along the neighborhood roadway, Doyle said.
The chief said his officers will be walking door-to-door to look for clues and plan to examine area survalliance video.

“We’re taking this seriously and will make an arrest once we figure out who’s behind this,” he said.
