A man has been arrested after a woman was shot in the foot in Bristol Borough.
Borough police Chief Steve Henry said officers were called to the area of Spruce and Headly streets for a report of shots fired Sunday. Once on the scene, police talked to several people and were approached by 22-year-old Bristol Township resident Lawrence Berry, who admitted he fired a gun.

Berry was found in possession of a .22 caliber handgun that was sized by investigators, Henry said.
A short time after officers responded to the shooting scene, a 36-year-old woman from Bristol Township showed up at Lower Bucks Hospital with a gunshot wound to the foot, the chief said.
Berry was charged with simple assault, reckless endangerment, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was arraigned by on-call District Judge Robert Wager and released on $100,000 unsecured bail.
