Jeremy Ruga, 29, of Trenton, is accused of smashing through the front doors of the Kohl’s on Big Oak Road around 3:15 a.m. on December 28 and stealing from the jewelry and watch counter. Investigators said Ruga used a sledge hammer to smash through the store and placed the stolen goods in a brown and tan bag before fleeing the store.

Police said after the burglary that between $60,000 and $100,000 in jewelry and watches were taken in the crime.

Lower Makefield authorities released surveillance video and images to the public and received their big break on January 2 when Ewing, New Jersey, officers arrested Ruga while he was driving a car stolen out of Morrisville Borough, police said.
