Santa Claus paid a surprise visit to the Bodine family of Falls Township on the morning of Christmas Eve.
Santa arrived at the Bodine residence in Fairless Hills being escorted by a number of his helpers from the Falls Township Police Department, including one of the organizers for the visit, Cpl. Steve Langan.

Langan and the other members Police Association of Falls Township decided to hook Santa up with the Bodines after meeting the family on Thanksgiving.
The family is made up of Stephanie Bodine and her two little girls, Emily, 4 and Anna, 9. The girl’s lost their father suddenly earlier this year.
“Santa Claus contacted the police department and asked us to escort him to a special family to help him deliver presents,” Langan said as officers prepared to donate gifts to the children.

As the police and Santa pulled up to the apartment, the girls recognized what was happening immediately, and greeted Santa as he gave them candy canes. Before the visit, Bodine, the mother of the girls, knew Santa was coming, but Emily and Anna did not.
Santa delivered toys and gifts that were on the girls’ Christmas lists and also a Christmas dinner to the Bodine family. The meal was donated by McCaffrey’s Market.
