According to the Borough Manager Jim Dillon, the exact cost of the vehicles wont be known until the time of purchase because they are coming off of the state bid list. However,ย heย estimated during the meeting that the SUVs will around $40,000 each.

The cost of the SUVs cars will come out of the 2017 budget. One will draw from the general fund, and the other from the capital improvement fund. Although there is only one vehicle purchase built into the 2017 budget, there was a vehicle purchase in the 2016 budget which was not used.
