The historic King George II Inn, a staple of the Delaware River waterfront for over 300 years, recently announced plans to expand services to two new locations in Bristol Borough.

Beginning this month, the King George Inn will offer full catering services at Mill Street’s Centre for the Arts and at a brand new catering hall built adjacent to Goodwill Hose Company Fire Station #3 on Mifflin Street.

“We’re so excited to bring this level of service back to Bristol,” Co-owner and General Manager Robert Strasser stated. “Full service catering for groups of 50 to 500, brand new rooms, and the quality and reputation we’re famous for. This is why we wanted to be in Bristol – it’s an amazing time right now in the borough’s history.”

Strasser, who with business partner Bruce Lowe and award-winning Chef Fabian Quiros acquired the King George Inn in 2015, has been working hard to reinvigorate this noted Bucks County institution.

“We truly see ourselves as caretakers of an important part of Bucks County history” said Strasser “and part of that responsibility is to build on the foundation we have. Offering state of the art facilities, our expansive menu, and exceptional service for weddings, receptions, showers, corporate events, and parties is part of the overall revitalization we’re seeing right now in Bristol Borough. We have something to offer everyone, from affordable casual dining, parties and events overlooking the Delaware River at the inn, to full wedding and party packages at our brand new hall, to more intimate corporate events at the CFA.”

Part of the new strategy is to offer packages that fit every budget. “Top quality doesn’t have to mean high prices,” CFO Bruce Lowe emphasized. “We want to be the preferred option for everyone in our community, and we’re offering a range of packages that allow us to provide a true ‘King George’ experience for every event whether it’s at one of our three locations or offsite. We’re here for everyone.”
