The Pennsylvania Auditor General and Pennsylvania Treasurer positions will remain in Democratic hands.
State Auditor General Eugene DePasquale was reelected and Treasurer candidate Joe Torsella cleared enough votes to take the seat in the new year.

DePasquale has already served one term as the state’s top fiscal watchdog. He has released investigations into the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission and child abuse call line.
Torsella will take over the state agency that processes $90 billion in payments every year.
Two of the last three treasurers have been charged with crimes. Former treasurer Rob McCord pleaded guilty to charges in an extortion case.
