A handmade mosaic bench has been installed in historic Bristol Borough.

The dedication and ribbon cutting event for the 2016 Community Art Project was held on Historic Bristol Day in mid-October.

The bench, which was designed by local mosaic artists and attendees at the Bristol Borough Business Association’s (BBBA) five First Friday events, was installed at the SEPTA bus stop between the Grundy Museum and Library on Radcliffe Street in Bristol Borough.

According to a recent release, “the bench will serve as a respite to those individuals waiting for public transportation and adds an eye catching piece of art to the local landscape.”
