It’s been several months and no one has been charged in connection with the February shooting that left Robert Colter III dead.
Colter’s family, who lived in the area of the intersection of Bath and Buckley streets in Bristol, just want anyone who knows anything about the case to come forward and tell the proper people, Robert Colter II, the victim’s father said last week.

Robert Colter III, 20, was gunned down by a single or multiple suspects who fired upon him from the corner of Mifflin and Bath Streets around 8 p.m. on February 16. The bullets struck the father of twins and left him mortally wounded outside his family’s Bath Street home.
“Right now, it’s as though everybody has forgotten,” Robert Colter II told LevittownNow.com. He stressed the Colter family has not forgotten about the murder and the violence that still threatens the community.
When he was shot, Robert Colter III was attending Bucks County Community College’s nursing program. He was the father of twin girls as well as a big brother.

“This crime was truly heinous,” the victim’s father said.
The most important message that the community and those who know the situation can take away, according to the victims’s family, is that if people know something about the crime, they should speak out and say something to the right people or to an anonymous tip line.

“I’m at a loss for words,” the victim’s father said. “I don’t know what to do.”

The Citizens Crime Commission is offering a $2,500 reward for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the crime that took the life of a young father away.
“We just want closure. We’re praying for people to step forward and help the community and themselves,” Colter said.

Through it all, Colter thanked the Bristol Borough police for working to solve the crime, as well as the county detectives.
Police said they are still actively working to solve the crime.
