A woman was struck by a car at a busy Middletown intersection.
The incident happened when a gold sedan and a woman crossing at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Woodbourne Road across from the Woodbourne Square Shopping Center around 3:20 p.m.

The driver, who was visibly shaken, stopped and the struck woman was aided by several people who were driving past and stopped. The woman appeared to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was complaining of facial and leg pain.
Police responded to the scene along with the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad.
