The employee at a Levittown doctors’ office has been charged after she was allegedly unlawfully filling prescriptions.
According to Middletown police, the activity became apparent when the office manager of the Frosty Hollow Road facility was registering with the prescription drug monitoring program. The manager reportedly uncovered that an employee was using the doctor’s prescription pads to fill orders forย Hydrocodone Acetaminophen, a narcotic used to treat pain.

Sally Panikowski, 38, was charged earlier this month with a number of misdemeanors related to theft, and two felonies related to forgery and the acquisition of controlled substances.
The court papers indicated that Panikowski admitted to using blank prescription pads from the doctor in order to fill the prescriptions without the practitioner’s knowledge.
Panikowski posted her own bail of $3,500 and is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
