A free Narcan training, kit distribution and education session on accessing substance abuse treatment services will be held for the public next week.
The training, kit distribution and education session will be held Monday, September 26 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Steps to Recovery at 1400 Veterans Highway in Levittown.

The session is facilitated by Steps to Recovery Treatment Facility, The Retreat Premier Addiction Treatment and D.A.V.E. (Drug Addiction Overdose Education Inc.), a group that was founded in memory of David Messina of Warminster, who lost his life to addiction on February 26, 2014.
The event is open for free to anyone who knows someone who is suffering from substance abuse.
“It is so important that we continue to educate, reduce the stigma and empower everyone to save a life,” said Sue Shoemaker from Steps to Recovery.
