Located in the parking lot behind Mill Street, the concert is expected to start at 5 p.m. and will feature a number of doo wop groups, includingย Russell Thompkins Jr. and The New Stylistics, The Intruders, Cleveland Still and The Dubs, Barbara Harris and The Toys and Frankie and The Fashions.

The artists are among the most celebrated doo wop performers in the Philadelphia and New York areas.

โ€œThis yearโ€™s Doo Wop Concert will be the best yet,” said Anthony Muccie, chairperson of the event and former Bristol councilman. “I donโ€™t know how this is possible given the past ten years, but this line-up is what will make the difference and take this concert over the top.”

โ€œBesides the great music and singers, the Doo Wop concert offers families and their friends an opportunity to experience this wonderful community,” said Muccie. “This concert is just one more example of Bristol Borough raising the bar.ย  Where else can you shop, dine andย get entertained with an incredible river-view in the background like we have here in the Borough.”

Parking for the event will be available at the Lenox building on Radcliffe Street starting at 3 p.m. A shuttle will operate from 3 p.m. until 11 p.m. to carry visitors between the concert and the parking lot.

In case of rain, the concert will go on Sunday.
