The famed Budweiser Clydesdales are coming to Bristol Borough for a visit on Labor Day. While they are in town, they will make their way along a specified caravan route to the waterfront. Budweiser representatives and the horses will be delivering ceremonial cases of beerย to clients along the route.

After the caravan concludes, the horses will be available for a brief photo opportunity in the Mill Street Parking Lot, located at the base of the business district. Here, borough businesses not along the caravan route can take photos with the horses and pick up their case of beer.

The Mill Street parking lot stop will likely be the best place for photo opportunities, according to Bill Pezza of Bristol Borough: Raising the Bar.

What is the caravan route?

The caravan route is as follows:

The caravan will stage at the Simon and Schuster yard, which will be closed to the public.ย ย The caravan will then head north on Radcliffe Street to the Bristol Moose Lodge before continuing to the Pines Tavern, then down Farragut Avenue to Pond Street to Old Route 13 and to Mill Street.

Most of the borough’s parking will open. However, parking along Mill Street will be prohibited from noon on Monday until the caravan passes. In addition, parking in the 200 block of Radcliffe Street will be blocked.

There will also be a large area in the Mill Street Parking Lot that will be utilized for the Clydesdales’ unhitching and transportation. Parking will be prohibited in that area on the day of the visit.

Where will the caravan be stopping?

The anticipated stops of the caravan, according to Pezza, are as follows:
