FBI, Police Descend On Bristol Neighborhood

FBI spokesperson Carrie Adamowski confirmed the activity in the area of Pond and Washington streets Thursday morning was related to a task force operation. She said she could not further comment on the law enforcement activity.

Federal agents and local police spent much of Thursday morning in Bristol Borough.

According to various neighbors, FBI agents, local police and other law enforcement officials were focusing their attention on a building at the corner of Pond and Washington streets. One neighbor said law enforcement arrived in several cars and were seen going in and out of a home in the 300 block of Washington Street.

Bristol Chief of Police Steve Henry told LevittownNow.com that the FBI and the Bucks County Safe Streets Task Force executed a search warrant in the area. He said the investigation was continuing and no arrests had been made.

The activity was clear from the intersection by 2 p.m.
