Residents of Falls Township are invited to take part in the town’s upcoming Citizens Police Academy.
The police department will be hosting their 13-week Citizens Police Academy starting Wednesday, September 14 and continuing Wednesday through the fall from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The session will end with a graduation ceremony before the Falls Board of Supervisors in December.

The classes will provide residents with a fresh perspective on policing. Participants will learn about use of force, practical traffic stops, shoot-donโt-shoot, crime scene investigation, K-9 officers, narcotics, the Diane Corado disappearance and homicide investigation and get a look inside the district court system.
Classes are limited to a maximum of 20 residents.
Applications can be picked up at the Falls Township Police Department on Lincoln Highway in Fairless Hills during the workweek from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.or online. Officials said that applicants must be at least 18 years old. The deadline for applications is September 2.
