A father dropping off his children at day care was struck by a car and injured Tuesday morning.
According to Bristol Borough police, the man was hit by his own car door after a vehicle driven by a 37-year-old Burlington, New Jersey woman struck his vehicle while backing into a parking spot at the intersection of Lincoln and Radcliffe streets around 8 a.m.

“The operator of the vehicle states that the vehicle’s accelerator became stuck while backing,” Chief Steven Henry said.
The man suffered “moderate injuries’ and was taken to Lower Bucks Hospital by the Lower Bucks County Rescue Squad, police said.
The investigation into the crash was on-going as of Tuesday afternoon.
