Woman Taken To Hospital After Bloody Crash Injury

An elderly woman was transported to a local hospital after receiving a bloody wound in a Levittown car wreck.

The crash happened Tuesday around 3:45 p.m. at the intersection on Mill Creek Parkway and Haines Road in Bristol Township.

An SUV driven by an off-duty police officer and an elderly woman in a sedan collided. The woman suffered a non-life-threatening laceration and the police officer and his son appeared uninjured.

The intersection was partly blocked until the crash was cleared.
