A traffic nightmare developed Friday afternoon in Bristol Township.

Long lines of slow moving traffic formed on area roads after fire police closed Route 13 between Green Lane and Edgely Road due to down utility wires and a brush fire, according to officials.

As of 3:15 p.m., the busy roadway remained closed and firefighters worked to put the brush fire out.
