Police Suspect Someone Was Trying To Poison Pets

Authorities are investigating possible attempts to poison pets in Bristol Borough.

The Bristol Borough Police Department is investigating cases of apparent attempted pet poisonings along Second Avenue, authorities confirmed to LevittownNow.com.

According to Chief Steve Henry, the department is working with the Bucks County SPCA to investigate. Police were still conducting interviews on the issue as of earlier this week.

“We are aggressively looking into it,” the chief added.

As of Monday, no animals had been injured by the substances left out, Henry said.
