Bristol Borough police and Bucks County Detectives buzzed around a neighborhood Tuesday afternoon as they investigated a weekend shooting.
According to sources and neighbors, a home in the 200 block of Cleveland Street was shot up over the weekend. The shooting did not leave any injuries, but two bullets struck the porch of the home at 259 Cleveland Street. Police were made aware of the incident over the weekend and Tuesday’s activity was a continuation of the investigation.

The borough police log noted a Cleveland Street resident reported hearing the “sound of pops” overnight. At 10:08 a.m. Sunday, police learned that two bullet holes were discovered in the porch window.
Borough police officers were seen talking to residents, removing a brown evidence bag from a home a few down from 259 Cleveland Street and walking at least two long guns to the trunk of a patrol vehicle. Nearby, county detectives used string and laser instruments to measure the trajectory of the bullets.
A “person of interest” was reportedly identified by police and that led to a search warrant being executed on a Cleveland Street home near where the bullets pierced the porch.
