According to court papers, investigators from the township police department became aware that drugs were being peddled out of a home in the 1500 block of Haines Road and began an investigation. The investigation involved surveillance and interviews.
Lisa A. Schultz, 51, and her daughter Dana Batzell, 27, both of Bristol Township, were both charged with a felony drug charge and four counts of child endangerment. Schultz was remanded to prison on 10 percent of $300,000 bail, and Batzell was sent to prison unable to post 10 percent of $30,000 bail.
Schultz admitted to police that she illegally sold prescription medications out of her Haines Road home for years and that she earned several hundred dollars per month, according to court papers.

Several people who admitted from buying drugs from the home said Batzell also sold prescription medications from the home, sometimes when young children were nearby, police said.
According to court documents, four children between the ages of 2 and 12 lived in the home.
Detective Doug Slemmer wrote in court papers that it was his observation the home was in “deplorable condition.” He reportedly observed strewn trash and a bed bug infestation inside the home.
