The Rotary Club of Langhorne put on its fifth annual Pet Fair on Saturday.

The day serves as a way for the Rotary Club to raise funds, but also as a way to get lots of dogs adopted. The funding goes to “a number of community projects that we do, as well as some of the international projects we are involved with,” said Ward McMasters, a member of the Langhorne Rotary and member of the committee for the organization of the pet fair.

In addition to raising money, the day always features a number of events and activities for families to enjoy such as a petting zoo, free pony rides, an agility course, an exotic animal show, as well as many vendors and food services.

“It’s just a great community event,” said State Representative Frank Farry (R-142). He also commented on the good work the Rotary does and the good work the event itself does in getting dogs adopted.

The event was held at Mayor’s Playground in the heart of Langhorne Borough.
