A party at a Middltown storage center resulted in two arrests for drug related charges with more likely to come.

According to police documentation, Daniel Barrett, 25, of Middletown, and Robert Haney, 24, of Fairless Hills, were present at a party at a Public Storage facility on South Flowers Mill Road in Middletown on Saturday night. While Barrett and Haney were charged as of Monday, police on Sunday said more people will be charged as the investigation progresses.

Middletown officers were summoned the Public Storage facility around 9:15 p.m. for reports of a large party with marijuana being smoked.

When police arrived, people who had been standing outside began running, with one person even jumping out a first-floor window. As police moved to check the premises, they noticed a number of marijuana products including marijuana food products, oil, a cylinder of nitrous oxide and jars of marijuana, according to the probable cause affidavit.

The second unit that party-goers were in was an apartment belonging to Barrett, the manager of the facility, authorities said.

In an interview at the police station, Barrett waved his Miranda rights and noted that he hosted the party even knowing that marijuana would be present, detectives wrote in paperwork. Although he intended to host the party, Barrett reportedly said he didnโ€™t plan for the large number of attendees.
