A Bristol man has been arrested in connection with a New Jersey shooting that left a man injured.

Marquise Davis, 21, was charged in connection with the March 26 shooting in Willingboro, New Jersey. He is accused of being involved with shooting that caused damage to a 30-year-old man’s face.

Davis was arrested along with Washington D.C. resident Chantelle Davidson, 21, earlier this week in Willingboro during a traffic stop, police said.

Police found Davis and Davidson in the stopped vehicle and “officers detected the odor of raw marijuana coming from the interior of the vehicle,” a press release said. A search of the car reportedly uncovered a “quantity of marijuana.”

After further investigation, police developed Davis as a possible subject connected to the shooting, police said.
