Regional Rail service on SEPTA’s West Trenton Line will be replaced by shuttle buses this weekend.
According to SEPTA, train service between the West Trenton station in Trenton and the Woodbourne station in Middletown will be suspended Saturday and Sunday. In place of Regional Rail trains, SEPTA will be providing shuttle bus service.

- Inbound Service (towards Center City):ย Buses will depart West Trenton and Yardley Stations earlier than regularly scheduled trains, and trains will depart Woodbourne Station five (5) minutes earlier than regularly scheduled.ย Trains will arrive at Center City Stations at the regularly scheduled time.ย The temporary weekend inbound timetable is available at: http://septa.org/alert/images/2016-04-wtr-separation-schedule-inbound.jpg
- Outbound Service (towards West Trenton):ย All trains will depart Center City Stations at the regularly scheduled time and will arrive at Woodbourne station five (5) minutes later than regularly scheduled.ย Customers traveling beyond Woodbourne will need to transfer to shuttle buses for the rest of their trip.ย The temporary weekend outbound timetable is available at: http://septa.org/alert/images/2016-04-wtr-separation-schedule-outbound.jpg
The work will also close Edgewood Road near the train crossing in Lower Makefield from 7 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.
Crews will be starting the second phase of the SEPTA-CSX Separation Project. Workers will be upgrading rail grade crossings where the West Trenton Regional Rail Line crosses Edgewood Road, Stony Hill Road, Heacock Road and Township Line Road over the next few weekends.
