Service on SEPTA’s Trenton Regional Rail Line was halted Sunday evening due to an incident in Bensalem.

A pedestrian was reportedly struck in the area of the Cornwell Heights station around 7:35 p.m.

The Amtrak train that was involved in the incident was stopped on the tracks along Route 13 while emergency officials worked the scene.

As of 8:45 p.m., there was no confirmed word on the person who was struck.

The incident came hours after two Amtrak workers were killed and one of the service’s trains derailed in Delaware County.
