A large billboard was toppled Monday during heavy winds.

According to a Bristol Township official, the large billboard that was directed at the Pennsylvania Turnpike blew down and fell across Airport Road in Levittown during Monday’s wind.

The billboard avoided hitting any vehicles or pedestrians but did bring down several utility lines and blocked the roadway.

The base pole that held the billboard above the ground was removed from the roadway and crews cleared debris on Tuesday afternoon.
