Firefighters from the Edgely and Levittown No. 2 fire companies took time Sunday to train at a bank that is set to be demolished.
The former First National Bank and Trust Company of Newtown branch at the Deon Square Shopping Center in Bristol Township’s Fairless Hills section was the site of the training. Volunteer firefighters practiced venting the roof and additional fire suppression techniques inside and outside the bank.

The bank was replaced by a newer building across the shopping center last year as part of a shopping center overhaul.
