Hundreds of kids and their parents, showed up to Restoration Church in Levittown for a free Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday.

The event marked the third year of Easter fun that the church in the Pinewood section of Falls Township offered for the community. Among the festivities, there was a magic show, a petting zoo, face painting, miniature golf and different craft stations. The big draw, however, is likely the catapult-powered egg hunt.
Soon after the event officially kicked off, at 10 a.m., there were already tons of people out and about.
“We just started five minutes ago and there are already hundreds of people here,” said Pastor Ross Manders.

The planning for the event began in January, allowing for about three months of lead time. The turnout is so huge due in part to the fact that it is a free event, the event organizers said.
“For us to be able to do this for the community is a joy for us,” Manders said. “Our vision is to know God and make him known. That is ultimately why we do it.”
