Craig Fant’s family now has closure.
The Bucks County Coroner’s Office determined following an autopsy Friday morning that the body discovered behind the Walmart at Commerce Circle in Bristol Borough late Wednesday morning belongs to the missing 48-year-old man, Bristol Sgt. Joe Moors said.

The cause of death listed for Fant was hypothermia, according to the coroner’s office.
Fant’s body was found in thick brush behind the Walmart and only a short walk from the Winder Village section of Bristol Township, where he lived with family. Crews clearing the area behind the Walmart shopping center came upon the body.
Fant was last spotted near Winder Village after returning on a bus from the Oxford Valley Mall on December 23, 2015. His family became immediately concerned when he didn’t return home because he suffered from cerebral palsy and various other medical ailments.

An early theory was that Fant may have become confused and became lost when he got on the wrong bus. He had become disoriented before and had trouble remembering phone numbers to contact his relatives.
After an extensive ground search by police officers, family, a trained dog and a police helicopter, hope for finding Fant alive began to dwindle. The 48-year-old’s credit card showed no activity after his disappearance, his family said.
