Neshaminy School District officials say an incident at the high school last Friday did not pose a threat to students or staff.
The incident, which happened in an unoccupied classroom at the Middletown high school, led to administrators restricting student movement and delayed class changes for about 10 minutes.

“At no point was there any threat or danger to students or staff. NHS was not put in Lockdown. The restriction on student hallway movement for a period of time was primarily to maintain the status quo of the building along with preserving student confidentiality,” Principal Dr. Rob McGee said in an email to parents.
“It involved a specific student who needed assistance, and the delay enabled the police to handle the situation quickly. As Dr. McGee stated, there was never any threats or danger to students or staff at any time,” Neshaminy spokesperson Chris Stanley told LevittownNow.com.
Chief of Police Joseph Bartorilla said no arrests were made during the incident.
