A police chase sped down New Falls Road in Bristol Township before ending outside an elementary school in Falls Township Thursday afternoon.
According to a police source and information from LevittownNow.com readers, the chase went north on New Falls Road from Five Points and eventually led to Penn Valley Road, where it ended. The tan-colored Cadillac ended up stopping outside Manor Elementary School on Penn Valley Road.

Photos from Alyssa Kain show police taking a man into custody next to the driver’s seat of the Cadillac.
“One of my employees was just driving down Penn Valley Road and witnessed a high speed chase,” Kaitlyn Brown said. “Guy in a Cadillac was going 100 MPH behind him – almost hit him – then hit the curb and blew out his tire and stopped.”
While there were marked Bristol Township patrol cars involved, the department was only assisting the Bucks County Detectives with the incident, Acting Lt. Ralph Johnson said.

Shortly after the arrest, police and a car from the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department blocked a portion of New Falls Road near the Levittown Post Office. Witnesses said law enforcement officials appeared to be searching the ground near the road and left after a short time. It was not clear whether the activity, which was along the chase route, was connected to the arrest.
Representatives from the Bucks County Detectives were immediately available for comment.
