
If you travel overnight on I-95 south in Middletown, be prepared to hit a work zone.
According to PennDOT officials, nighttime travel restrictions are scheduled on the southbound lanes of I-95 between Route 1 and Lincoln Highway from Sunday until Friday. The work will start at 8 p.m. and end by 5 a.m.

The work is to repair the bridge deck and expansion joints. The project is is part of a contract that will seeย repairs to bridge decks and seal joints to preserve and maintain structures in the Philadelphia region, PennDOT officials said.
The project will close one southbound lane overnight. Motorist are advised to allow more time to travel through the area.
Wilmington, Delaware-based Eastern Highway Specialists Inc. will be performing the repairs as part of a $1.4 million project.
