Britton fled late Friday morning as police approached his vehicle during an investigation. He led them on a chase that ended with himย striking police vehicles before crashing at State Road and Camer Drive.

“The vehicle then attempted to elude police, striking two unmarked police cars and one of my detectives. The detective was pushed into another car but he appears to be uninjured,” Bensalem Public Safety Director Fred Harran told 6abc.com.

Britton was arraigned by District Judge Joseph Falcone and sent to Bucks County prison on 10 percent of $1 million bail.
