Work on the Neshaminy School District’s newest elementary school is ahead of schedule and encountering no major problems.
The new 900-student elementary school being constructed at the site of the former Tawanka site in Lower Southampton has encountered little complains from nearby residents, officials said. The only recent complaints came from two residents about a half-mile away from the construction site. The residents are noting an increase in storm flowing into their yards.

Ryan Brennan of Reynold Construction said engineers are checking on the runoff complains.
Roofing was being placed this week on parts of the building. Warm temperatures recently have helped contractors get ahead on their work.
The roughly $30 million school is expected to open by September.
