The swollen Delaware River in Bristol Borough returned to where it is supposed to be by Monday afternoon.

After swelling onto parts of the Bristol Wharf and surrounding park land Sunday afternoon, the river shrunk back. As of Monday afternoon, the water was still higher than normal.
