Bensalem police said the 1 and 3 year olds were left in the car seats while their parents – Jarrett Evan Nelson, 39, and Ebony J. Walker, 30, both of Newark, New Jersey – went inside the casino. The temperature at the time hovered around freezing and the car was not running, authorities said.

Officers reviewed survalliance video that confirmed the couple went into the casino without their children, police said.

The children were unharmed and released to other family members.
