A Falls Township man with a long history of police contact, including running his car into a district courthouse, was charged Friday with indecent assaults on two young girls.
According to court records and police, 54-year-old William Shaw, who lived in a mobile home off Old Bristol Pike, was arraigned via video Friday afternoon on charges including indecent assault on a person less than 13, indecent exposure, corruption of minors and related offenses.

Shaw fondled himself to the point of ejaculation in front of the two girls several times, police said. He also reportedly used sex toys on himself and had sex with another man in front of one of the girls.
“[One of the girls] spoke about the physical assault and then told the interviewer about an ornamental sword located inside Shaw’s residence. [The girl] has observed Shaw hitting his ‘pee pee’ with this sword. Shaw was naked when he was doing this,” according to court papers.
Shaw is also accused of physically assaulting the girls and using a kitten to make sure the girls stayed at his mobile home.

During a search of Shaw’s mobile home in summer, police found two vibrator eggs, a backpack containing pornographic DVDs, numerous pairs of soiled panties, women’s bathing suits, women’s shirts, women’s bra, commercial pornographic magazine pages inside plastic page protectors, a rubber penis with a strap on device, a mannequin head, a rubber vagina, women’s bathing suit bottoms with holes cut into the crouch, tri-folded posterboards decorated with commercial pornographic magazine pages in plastic sheet protectors, an ornamental metal sword and ax and various personal lubricants, according to court papers.
“As if you didn’t already figure this out from reading the affidavit, this guy is a real scumbag,” Lt. Hank Ward said.

The girls spoke with police in August and were interviewed at the Bucks County Children’s Advocacy Center in Warwick.
Shaw, who was charged with physically assaulting the girls in August, has been locked up at Bucks County prison on pre-arraignment hold since October, court documents state.
“We have a long history with him and he has been in and out of jail all his life,” Ward said. “And needless to say I hope Santa drops a huge boulder of coal on his head for Christmas.”

Shaw spent time in jail last year when he backed his SUV into the front doors of District Judge Jan Vislosky’s court in Fallsington before fleeing down New Falls Road. Police said the impact led to roughly $5,000 in damage. Shaw later returned to the scene of the crime with an odor of alcohol coming from his breath and became “deceptive” when Sgt. Sven Beauchmin asked where his vehicle was, according to court paperwork.
Court records show Shaw was paroled from jail last September and ordered not to enter businesses that service alcohol and he needed to seek evaluation and treatment for mental health and intoxicating substances.
