Major Crash Leaves SUV Heavily Damaged Along Route 13

A serious wreck involving an SUV and a truck happened Tuesday evening along Route 13 in Bristol.

The crash happened around 5:15 p.m. in the area of Third Avenue and Route 13. The SUV appeared to have slammed into the rear of a transport truck.

Bystanders said it appeared at least two people were being attended to by firefighters, police and medics.

The crash caused authorities to close Route 13 between Bath Road and Beaver Dam Road.
