It didn’t take long for Bristol Borough police to deem Tuesday’s bomb threat found in an elementary school bathroom not credible.
Sgt. Pete Faight said the threat was found in a boys’ bathroom in the elementary wing of the Snyder-Girotti School and students were removed from the building as a precaution. The students were taken to a field beside the school and dismissed to their parents after a robocall was made, Chief Arnold Porter told LevittownNow.com.

Police are continuing to investigate the threat and do not believe it is connected to the two previous bomb threats at the school.
Officers and school officials spent the afternoon interviewing students and had several leads on the latest threat against the school, Faight said.
The sergeant said police are planning to seek restitution for the cost of the threats. In the two previous incidents at Snyder-Girotti, Bristol Township and Lower Makefield police had to respond with special bomb detecting dogs. Faight said the total cost to deal with the threats is in the thousands.

Porter said his department will continue to work to educate students about the seriousness of the threats.
