A 15-year-old Harry S. Truman High School student is facing terroristic threat charges after an incident that happened just before 11 a.m. Thursday at the school.

Lt. Terry Hughes said the student was charged as a juvenile and was released to the custody of his parents.
The student who was charged reportedly made a phone call that was threatening to another student. The student who received the call reported the incident to authorities who began their investigation.

A suspect was taken into custody Thursday after a reported threat against Bristol Township’s Harry S. Truman High School in Levittown.
According to a short district statement emailed to reporters, a Truman student received a threatening phone call from an unknown number Thursday morning. After receiving the threat, the student reported it to administration at the high school.

The district staff “immediately contacted the Bristol Township Police who investigated the threat and identified the suspect,” the statement said.
The suspect was reportedly in police custody.

The incident comes hours after a bomb threat against Bucks County Community College’s Newtown campus and a day after a bomb threat against the lone public elementary school in Bristol Borough.
