Freeze Watch Issued For Area

Forecasters issued a freeze watch Bucks County Sunday evening through Monday morning.

According to the National Weather Service’s Mt. Holly, New Jersey office, temperatures are expected to drop to around 30 degrees overnight Sunday into Monday.

The first freeze watch of the season means cold sensitive plants and vegetables could be killed during the weather.

Forecasters wrote that many preventive methods might not be enough to prevent cold sensitive vegetation from dying.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 35. Northwest wind 5 to 8 mph.
Sunday: A slight chance of showers after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 51. Northwest wind 7 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 32. Northwest wind 5 to 9 mph.
Monday: Sunny, with a high near 53. Northwest wind 3 to 7 mph.
Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 39.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 64.
Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 46.
